What is the law of sin and death? If you ask the Christian what it is, they will tell you that it is the law. To them the law is sin. But guess what? Sha’ul asked the same question:
Rom 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Aluah forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
See? He tells us plainly that the law is not sin, but is essential to show us what sin is. Hence, we have to look a little more carefully into the question of what the law of sin and death actually is. This episode will reveal what Sha’ul (Paul) was actually referring to.
